Scoutmaster Tom Coscia

Tom grew up in Clayton, MO and earned his Eagle in Troop 21. As scoutmaster, he’s won numerous awards, including the Silver Beaver, a national scouting award that recognizes exceptional character and distinguished service. Tom has led the troop since 1991, helping more than 125 scouts earn their Eagle rank. He has shaped the troop’s commitment to “growth through travel,” arranging for scouts to canoe the Boundary Waters, tour Europe, sail the Caribbean, and explore the canyons of Utah, among many other journeys.

Troop 21 Adult Volunteers

The troop depends entirely on the volunteer help of parents and other adults. We are blessed with adults willing to take the expansive roles as described below. We ask that everyone help where they might, perhaps buying snacks or helping scouts organize a meeting or two. Your new scout will take cues from you, and your involvement with the troop is a strong predictor of their success. No hurry – take time to observe. We welcome your involvement anytime.
